Panel 1

I graduated with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work through Yeshiva University in 2012. I am a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW) and the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). I have certificates from OISE at the University of Toronto in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy & completed coursework toward certification in Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
Since graduating, I have worked in a variety of settings across Toronto and New York and continue to work as a Clinical Social Worker at Baycrest providing supportive counselling and resource counselling in outpatient programs.
Counselling is a useful tool to help us better understand the complexities around us and to help create a deeper sense of meaning in the barriers we face and the relationships around us.I see so much beauty in the human experience and am awed and privileged to get to hear people’s stories.
I create safe counselling spaces where my clients are able to feel heard, validated and where they are free to express themselves and be vulnerable. I take a holistic approach when working with my clients and love working in a collaborative fashion.
I employ a mixed- bag approach in my counselling that includes:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Narrative Therapy
Problem Solving and Solution Focused Therapy
Mindfulness.
Contact me to learn more about my experience and to determine if working together feels right for you.

Panel 2
INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING
I focus on providing clients with a safe, non-judgemental space to talk about and process individual issues and concerns and work toward a greater sense of personal wellness.
*Each session is 55 minutes in length and is offered in person, via telephone or online.

HEALTHCARE SYSTEM NAVIGATION
Navigating the healthcare system in Ontario and the various resources available can be confusing, complex and time-consuming. I offer support to assess, recommend & refer you to the right services and advocate for you and/or the person you are caring for on your behalf.

CREATIVE WRITING GROUP FACILITATION
Artistic expression is a tool that promotes healing and positive coping strategies. Each creative group, be it poetry or theatre is designed to encourage self expression, inward reflection, brain exercise and the processing of complex emotions. These groups incorporate writing original poetry, reading and analysis of poems from established poets, rehearsal of plays and/or the creation of new dramatic pieces.
Contact me to learn more about these services and talk about what type of support you are looking for.
*most in person sessions are held at Toronto Healing Arts Centre
