I graduated with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Wurzweiler School of Social Work through Yeshiva University in 2012. I am a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW) and the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).  I have certificates from OISE at the University of Toronto in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy & completed coursework toward certification in Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

Since graduating, I have worked in a variety of settings across Toronto and New York and continue to work as a Clinical Social Worker at Baycrest providing supportive counselling and resource counselling in outpatient programs.

Counselling is a useful tool to help us better understand the complexities around us and to help create a deeper sense of meaning in the barriers we face and the relationships around us.I see so much beauty in the human experience and am awed and privileged to get to hear people’s stories.

I create safe counselling spaces where my clients are able to feel heard, validated and where they are free to express themselves and be vulnerable.  I take a holistic approach when working with my clients and love working in a collaborative fashion.

I employ a mixed- bag approach in my counselling that includes:

 Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Narrative Therapy

Problem Solving and Solution Focused Therapy

Mindfulness.
